This years' raffle quilt was made from the Pattern, "BQ", from Maple Island Quilts.  It is 90" x 108" Queen size (although will fit on a King size bed with a 12" drop on each side). It features Kaffe Fassett focus fabrics, with Kona cotton black and celery.  The quilt contains 30 blocks.  Each block is 18" square.

The drawing will be held on November 12, 2018.  Tickets are $1 each, or 6 for $5.  This year proceeds from the raffle quilt sales will go to Meals By Grace.

They are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Cumming, GA.

Meals by Grace is a no cost, delivered meal program available to the children of Forsyth County and their families. These families have been identified as having a special need by the Forsyth County School System Social Workers with limited or unreliable transportation.

As food insecurity is relieved in the home, other needs float to the surface. Primarily, missing Life Skills. Caregivers who are unable to manage even basic life skills and provide food for their families have a tendency to become either depressed and abandon or angry and abusive. Neither is an acceptable outcome for something relatively easy to solve. Dignity is preserved by offering private coaching and guidance through in-home mentoring. In many of our families, the obvious thing missing is current, marketable job skills. From the simple ESL and GED to the more advanced computer and industry specific raining, our families need an entry point, at tradesman level, to obtain sufficient wages enabling them to be more self-sustaining.

DONATE! As partners with the food bank, food can be obtained for $.16 lb. This means a $320 donation will buy ONE TON of food!!
